Written in the fall of 2016, after moving away from my hometown in Northwestern Connecticut, this piece is a strict 12-tone chorale based on a single tone-row beginning on C (0) and ending on C# (1), making it quite challenging to keep this work consonant, while still conveying a sense of nostalgia surrounding my musical family from back home and a rebirth in another world. I have included the forms in the score for those who wish to understand the composition in more detail. A piano may be used in lieu of the vibraphone.
